Why did I become a celebrant? I wanted to be an actress, I am an accomplished performer but spend less time doing this these days.I kept my hand in teaching and performing locally for many years and tried on many hats in that time. I settled the last 5 years in student services. Working with performing arts students. I have learnt what it is to be truly human I would say during this time. Looking outside of myself to support others has made a world of difference to my quality of life. That's why after many years of wanting and searching for my dream job I decided to take the plunge and do this .I'm creative and fun and love nothing more than long and deep conversations, finding out what's going on and what makes you happy or sad. I honestly can't think of a better way of spending my time.

I'm rather good at interpretive dance. 
I collect tiny ceramic figurines.
